■aya nariai
1988年千葉県生まれ宮崎県育ち。 2011年京都市立芸術大学美術科日本画専攻卒業。
宮崎の自然豊かな土地で育ったこともあり、植物が好きで主に描いていたが、
2014年に野良猫を保護したことをきっかけに猫の仕草、表情、模様の美しさに魅せられ、作品に多く登場するように。
水彩絵具を用いて温かみある世界を表現している。 絵をもっと身近に感じてほしいという思いから、
普段使える雑貨に商品展開し、現在は京都 を拠点に活動中。

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1988 and raised in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 2011 with a major in Japanese Painting.
Having grown up in Miyazaki's rich natural environment, she mainly painted plants, but in 2014,
she became fascinated by the beauty of cats' gestures, expressions, and patterns when
she rescued a stray cat, which appears in many of her works.
She uses watercolors to create a warm and welcoming world. She is currently based in Kyoto, Japan,
where she has developed a line of goods printed with her artworks in the hope that her paintings
will become more familiar to the public.
