University of Brighton Illustration卒業
香港を拠点に活動するアーティスト/イラストレーター
イギリスでイラストレーションを学び、自身のブランドとなる“Dawning Crow”スタジオを創設。
動物を主なモチーフに、勢いのあるラフな線でかわいいだけではない、少しのダークさやユーモアを兼ね備えた作品を制作している。

2007年Yuko Uemuraによりシカゴ・アメリカでスタートしたオリジナルデザインの手刷りプリントブランド
現在は横須賀市秋谷にある海辺のアトリエで活動中。オープンハウスなども積極的に行い、素材にこだわり、独自のデザインで
ハンドタオルやブランケット、ペーパーアイテムなどを手掛ける。

It is created by MANGO ART COMPANY printed using a Japanese Imabari Towel, supervised by Dawning Crow Kathy Lam,
using a silk screen printing technique by hand print brand PataPri.

It is a very soft and light 100% cotton Japanese Imabari Gauze Towel that absorbs great and dries quickly.
Imabari is home to a large cotton processing industry, with particular emphasis on towels and is famous for producing good quality towels.

■Dawning Crow (Kathy Lam)
Dawning Crow Kathy Lam is an artist/illustrator who had studied in the UK and now based in Taiwan/Hong Kong.
Her work often turns interesting looking animals into the like of human, projected with her own personality and thoughts.
With an intricate yet freehand style, her illustrations display a comic-like dark humour.
■PataPri
A hand-printed brand of original designs started by Yuko Uemura in 2007 in Chicago, U.S.A.
Currently working from a seaside atelier in Akiya, Yokosuka City. She also actively holds open houses and other events.
The brand uses the best materials available and produces hand towels, blankets, paper items,
and other items with their own unique designs.
